The beauty of motherhood is considerably one of the greatest fantasies a woman could dream of. Every woman in this world would like to be a mother in their whole course of life – nurturing, teaching, and looking over his very precious child as he or grows up to what they want to become in the near future. Therefore, pregnancy is considered a blessing for every woman – it is a symbolism that she has been given a chance to exercise and let the world know of her motherly powers.
However, the process of pregnancy is a tough road a woman must battle. This phase in her life entails her to be more cautious like she have never been before, so as not to possibly hurt the baby inside her. In this phase, she is challenged to her limits. She is baffled with the immense level of discipline that she must practice in order to make sure that her precious one comes out in the world perfectly fine. Being pregnant is for one thing rewarding, but it is surely not something very easy.
When a woman becomes pregnant, her health is at a risk. The stability of her well being is somehow disturbed, she will not be able to go through her normal flow when she was still not pregnant. She will surely be exposed to a lot of diseases. She could be attacked anywhere -from her heart, to her bones and even on her gums. The phase of pregnancy and gum infections are considered to be a perfect mismatch. This means the gum infection should be resolved as soon as possible since this may affect the baby.
If a pregnant woman disregards her gum infection and thinks that it is just a normal part of the process, then she is putting her life and her baby's life on the line. If a woman does not treat her gum diseases as early as possible during pregnancy, chances are she might deliver a premature child. A lot of studies has shown that 68% of pregnant women with gingivitis (the scientific term for gum infection) deliver either premature children or children with health problems. Gum infections also highly affect the weight of your newborn. Remember that in pregnancy, you and your baby are somehow interconnected. When you get sick, your baby does as well. So if you catch gingivitis, your baby's health is also weakened, resulting into becoming an underweight when he or she comes out. An underweight baby is not a good indicator of proper pregnancy.
Thus, a huge responsibility is entailed to a woman when pregnant. Having excellent oral hygiene is certainly and without a doubt, necessary to keep your baby in good shape. It might be difficult for a woman, but you can always seek the assistance of your better half or your doctor for more tips and tricks. Believe it or not, there is nothing more beautiful and majestic than having a healthy baby to show to the world.
